About the event
In honor of Black History Month, join EYMP for a tour of the National Museum of African American History & Culture. We will take a guided tour of the museum and afterwards will discuss how African American history and present day challenges impact us as Eritrean (and African) Americans. Due to the sensitive nature of this museum and our discussions, we ask that all attendees also be 12 years old or older.
RSVP is required to attend. The event is free, but attendees will need a ticket to enter the museum and join the tour. If spots are taken, please join the waitlist and we will follow up if a spot opens up or we can secure additional tickets.
LOCATION:
We will meet promptly at 12:30 PM by the Group Entrance sign on Madison St. Parking is available on Madison and Jefferson Drives prior to 14th St, as well as other areas, but we highly recommend utilzing public transportation. Metro Center (Red, Blue, Orange, Silver) and Archives-Navy (Green, Yellow) are the nearest metro stations.
